Brahma sb001 - jhir mar barase

a small fragment of a song on rains by Manganiars, A Rajasthani Musician Community, performing in Delhi. The room is not very good, medium sized, low ceiling and very reflective. The most exciting part of this recording is the Kartal, two flat pieces of wood in each hand, loosely held and played with great virtuosity. Four performers, three of them singing, two percussion instruments (kartal and dholak) and bowed instrument, the Kamaicha.
